Allahumma ghfir lahu warhamhu is a short supplication recited to ask Allah for forgiveness and mercy for a deceased person. It is one of the most well-known duas Muslims say when praying for someone who has passed away.

If the deceased person is a woman, the formula becomes:
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهَا وَارْحَمْهَا
Transliteration: Allahumma ghfir laha warhamha.
Translation: O Allah, forgive her and have mercy on her.
In Arabic, the ending changes depending on whether the supplication is made for a man or a woman:
For several deceased people, one may say:
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ
Transliteration: Allahumma ghfir lahum warhamhum.
Translation: O Allah, forgive them and have mercy on them.
