1. The Formation of the Human Embryo

The Quran precisely describes the stages of embryonic development in the womb:

“We created man from an extract of clay. Then We made him a drop in a firm lodging. Then We made the drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump.”
(Surah 23:12-14)
