Jannah Dua for Deceased Parents: Prayers to Honor and Remember Them

Here are some powerful duas from the Quran and Sunnah that you can recite for your deceased parents:

1. Dua for Forgiveness

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ

“Rabbighfir li waliwalidayya walilmu’mineena yawma yaqoomu al-hisab”
“My Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.”
(Surah Ibrahim, 14:41)

2. Dua for Jannah

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِوَالِدَيْنَا وَارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانَا صَغِيرًا

“Rabbana aghfir lana waliwalidayna warhamhum kama rabbayana saghiran”
“Our Lord, forgive us and our parents and have mercy upon them as they brought us up [when we were] small.”
(Surah Al-Isra, 17:24)

3. General Dua for the Deceased

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ وَعَافِهِمْ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ

“Allahumma ighfir lahum warhamhum wa’afihim wa’fu ‘anhum”
