Why Make Duas for Your Children?

The Seven Supplications to Recite Daily
1. A Supplication for Children Who Seek Forgiveness
Arabic:
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ أَوْلَادِي مِنَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَحْسَنُوا اسْتَبْشَرُوا وَإِذَا أَسَاءُوا اسْتَغْفَرُوا
Transliteration: Allahumma aj’al awladi min alladhina idha ahsanu istabsharu wa idha asa’u istaghfaru.
Translation: O Allah, make my children among those who rejoice when they do good, and who seek forgiveness when they do wrong.
Explanation: This supplication is in line with Islamic teachings on gratitude and sincere repentance.
2. A Supplication for Good in Both Worlds
اللَّهُمَّ آتِهِمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Transliteration: Allahumma atihim fi ad-dunya hasanah wa fi al-akhirati hasanah wa qihim ‘adhab an-nar.
Translation: O Allah, grant them good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect them from the punishment of the Fire.

3. A Supplication for Mercy and Success
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ لَهُمْ مُوجِبَاتِ رَحْمَتِكَ، وَعَزَائِمَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ، وَالسَّلَامَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ إِثْمٍ، وَالْغَنِيمَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ بِرٍّ، وَالْفَوْزَ بِالْجَنَّةِ، وَالنَّجَاةَ مِنَ النَّارِ
Transliteration: Allahumma inni as’aluka lahum mujibati rahmatika, wa ‘aza’ima maghfiratika, was-salamata min kulli ithm, wal-ghanimata min kulli birr, wal-fawza bil-jannah, wan-najata min an-nar.

4. A Supplication for Spiritual Stability
رَبِّ لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَهُمْ بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَهُمْ وَهَبْ لَهُمْ مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَهُمْ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ رَشَدًا
Transliteration: Rabbi la tuzigh qulubahum ba’da idh hadaytahum wa hab lahum min ladunka rahmatan wa hayyi’ lahum min amrihim rashada.

5. A Supplication for Protection from Trials
اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْهُمْ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ، وَتَحَوُّلِ عَافِيَتِكَ، وَفُجَاءَةِ نِقْمَتِكَ، وَجَمِيعِ سَخَطِكَ

6. A Supplication for Remembering Allah
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنْهُمْ عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ

7. A Supplication for Ease and Beneficial Reminder
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُمْ مِنْ مَنْ تُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْيُسْرَى وَتُجَنِّبُهُ الْعُسْرَى وَاجْعَلْهُمْ مِنْ مَنْ يَتَذَكَّرُ فَتَنْفَعُهُمُ الذِّكْرَى
