Modern Standard Arabic is the reference form used in education, books, the press, media, conferences and many formal contexts across the Arab world.
Our program develops the four core language skills: understanding, speaking, reading and writing. The teacher also focuses on pronunciation, vocabulary acquisition and correct use of grammatical structures.
For English-speaking Muslims, this program also provides a strong linguistic foundation before more specialized study of Quranic Arabic and texts from the Islamic sciences.
The complete program represents 384 hours across four levels. Students progress according to their actual skills: when a level is validated before all 96 hours are used, the remaining credit carries over to the next level.

You learn to speak about yourself, your surroundings, your experiences and increasingly complex topics as your level develops.
Reading progresses from short, fully vocalized texts to more developed informational, cultural and literary texts.
You progress from simple sentences to paragraphs, narratives, summaries and well-organized texts.
Grammar and verb conjugation are studied in context so that you can use them correctly in both speaking and writing.
Each level broadens your vocabulary for daily life, culture, study and formal communication.

Each level provides a credit of 96 hours of private lessons. The pace is set at 2 hours per week, for a target of 48 weeks of lessons. Payment is spread over 12 monthly payments of 8 hours.
The 48 weeks are a learning target, not an expiry date. When lessons are rescheduled in accordance with the Institute’s rules, the hours remain available until they are used.

Yes, if the assessment confirms that you already have the required skills. There is no need to repeat levels you have already mastered.
Yes. Modern Standard Arabic provides an important foundation in vocabulary, grammar and comprehension. Quranic Arabic also has its own vocabulary, expressions and objectives, so a dedicated Quranic Arabic program can usefully complement this course.
You move to the next level without placing a new order. Your remaining hour credit is kept and used to continue your progression.
