Frequently asked questions about Level 2

How long does it take to complete this level?
Level 2 includes a total credit of 96 hours of one-to-one lessons. The schedule is set at 2 hours per week, with a target of 48 weeks of lessons, or about one year. The 48 weeks are a learning target, not an expiry date for your lesson credit.
Are the lessons one-to-one?
Yes. Each lesson is between one student and one teacher. Speaking practice, corrections and revision can therefore be adapted to the student’s actual level.
What happens if I pass the level before using all 96 hours?
Once the teacher confirms that you have achieved the objectives for the level, you continue the programme without losing your remaining credit. Unused hours are carried over to the next level.
What happens if I have not used all 96 hours after 12 months?
Your remaining hours are not lost. The 12 monthly payments cover the 96-hour lesson credit. If lessons have been postponed, you may continue studying after the twelfth payment until the remaining credit has been used.
How are absences handled?
A lesson cancelled at least 3 hours in advance can be moved to the end of the schedule, up to a maximum of 3 absences per month. If these conditions are not met, the lesson is deducted from your lesson credit.
Can I temporarily pause my lessons?
Yes. Monthly payments continue during the pause, but any lessons not taken are moved to the end of the schedule and remain available until used.

96 hours of lessons at a fixed pace of 2 hours per week

Level 2 includes a total credit of 96 hours of one-to-one lessons. This plan is organised at 2 hours per week, with a learning target of 48 weeks.

Payment is spread over 12 monthly payments of 8 hours. The 48 weeks are a reference pace, not a deadline for using the hours you have purchased.

  • 96 hours of one-to-one lessons in total.
  • 2 hours of lessons per week.
  • 48 weeks as the learning target.
  • 12 monthly payments, each covering 8 hours.
  • A dedicated teacher who follows the student’s progress.

Your lesson credit remains available until it is used

If lessons are postponed because of holidays, authorised absences or a temporary pause, the remaining hours are not lost. You may continue beyond the 48 weeks and after the twelfth monthly payment until all remaining credit has been used.

Please note: the 12 monthly payments cover the 96-hour lesson credit. Once purchased, the hours remain available until they have been fully used.

Absences, rescheduling and temporary pauses

  • A lesson cancelled at least 3 hours in advance can be moved to the end of the schedule.
  • Rescheduling is possible up to a maximum of 3 absences per month.
  • If these conditions are not met, the lesson is deducted from your lesson credit.
  • You may temporarily pause your lessons.
  • During a pause, monthly payments continue and lessons not taken are rescheduled.
  • The subscription involves a commitment of 12 monthly payments.

Level assessment and progression through the programme

  • Moving to the next stage depends on the teacher confirming that the learning objectives have been achieved.
  • If the level is passed before all 96 hours are used, the remaining credit is carried over to the rest of the programme.
  • If all 96 hours are used but the objectives have not yet been fully achieved, additional hours can be added through the Flex option.

Assessment and level validation

Your teacher regularly assesses your listening comprehension, ability to respond, vocabulary, pronunciation, fluency and command of the structures studied.

Validation is based on the skills you have genuinely acquired. You move forward once the foundations of the level are sufficiently secure, not simply when the planned number of hours has been reached.

  • Continuous assessment during lessons.
  • Targeted revision of points that still need work.
  • End-of-level assessment.
  • Al-Dirassa certificate after successful validation.
  • Remaining credit is kept if the level is passed before 96 hours are used.
