The fourth and final volume of the Madinah Method
Madinah Book 4 is the fourth and final volume of the Arabic-learning method used at the Islamic University of Madinah.
It continues the progression of the first three volumes with more in-depth work on grammar, grammatical analysis, and morphology.
This level aims to make the student more independent in analysing structures, studying sarf and morphological patterns, and reading and understanding advanced Arabic and Islamic texts.

96 hours of lessons at a fixed pace of 2 hours per week
Level 4 includes a total credit of 96 hours of one-to-one lessons. The pace for this plan is fixed at 2 hours per week, with a target of 48 weeks of lessons, or about one year.
Payment is spread over 12 monthly payments of 8 hours. The 48 weeks are a progression target; they are not an expiry date for your lesson credit.

Your lesson credit remains available until it is used
If lessons are postponed because of holidays, authorised absences, or a temporary pause, your remaining hours are not lost. You may continue beyond 48 weeks and beyond the 12 monthly payments until your remaining credit is used.
Absences, rescheduling, and temporary pauses
- A lesson cancelled at least 3 hours in advance can be moved to the end of your schedule.
- Rescheduling is available up to 3 absences per month.
- If these conditions are not met, the lesson is deducted from your hour credit.
- A temporary pause in lessons is possible.
- During a pause, monthly payments continue, but lessons not taken are moved to the end of your schedule.
- The subscription involves a commitment of 12 monthly payments and cannot be cancelled before the commitment ends.
Programme validation and additional hours
- Book 4 is the final level of the Madinah Method programme.
- If the learning objectives are validated before all 96 hours are used, the remaining hours can be used to continue deepening your Arabic according to the learning pathway defined with your teacher.
- If you have used all 96 hours but have not yet completed the level, you can add hours with the Flex plan.
- The pace for this plan remains fixed at 2 hours per week.
Assessment and validation of Madinah Book 4
The final assessment checks your independence in reading, your command of grammar and morphology, and your ability to analyse more advanced texts.
After completing Book 4, your teacher can guide you toward further language study, nahw, sarf, balagha, or preparation for more advanced study of the Islamic sciences.
